last night, i watch this film, which is a fascinating look at industrial design....
karim rashid is in it, and he mentions some of the objects that first caught his interest in design as a kid.
i was instantly reminded of one of those objects, from my own childhood:
man, i loved that thing..... i wish i'd hung onto it. i'll have to hunt around my parent's place for it, next time i'm there....
i think it would look great next to my bed, now!
